The Brand and Product Specialist will be responsible for managing the company’s paint products portfolio by combining in-depth product knowledge with effective marketing strategies. The role focuses on developing brand positioning, increasing product visibility, supporting sales teams with technical insights, and driving customer engagement through product knowledge and brand-building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
- Develop a thorough understanding of all paint products, including their technical features, performance characteristics, and applications.
- Assist in product development and improvement initiatives in coordination with R&D and production teams.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor products.
- Support in pricing strategy formulation based on market dynamics and cost analysis.
Brand Management:
- Develop and implement marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the market.
- Plan and execute brand campaigns, promotional events, and product launches.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Monitor brand performance metrics and prepare periodic brand performance reports.
Marketing & Communication:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful digital and print content (brochures, catalogues, product videos, etc.).
- Prepare product presentations and technical datasheets for customers and sales teams.
- Manage product displays, sampling activities, and participation in trade shows or exhibitions.
- Coordinate with advertising agencies, vendors, and distributors for brand activities.
Sales Support & Training:
- Provide technical training and product demonstrations to the sales force and distributors.
- Support the sales team with product knowledge to help them achieve sales targets.
- Address customer queries regarding product specifications, application methods, and performance issues.

Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in paints or coatings industry, preferably in product management or marketing roles.
