Responsibilities

• Set up breakfast stations with fresh food, beverages, and condiments, ensuring everything is stocked and visually appealing
• Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards, including cooking, slicing, and assembling dishes
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and service utensils through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly guest relations
• Manage food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure safety for all guests
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when applicable
• Clear tables, bussing dishes efficiently to maintain a tidy environment during busy breakfast hours

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, or catering staff is preferred
• Familiarity with kitchen tasks including food preparation, cooking, knife skills, meat cutting, and meal assembly
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction handling
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
• Background in banquet service or catering provides valuable insight into large-scale meal coordination
• Customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities are vital for guest satisfaction
• Experience working in hotel restaurants or coffee shops such as barista roles can be advantageous
