Breakfast Attendant

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked with food, beverages, and supplies
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with any questions or requests
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, pastries, cereals, and hot food items
- Monitor food levels and replenish as needed to ensure a continuous supply for guests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, countertops, and other surfaces in the breakfast area
- Clear tables and clean up spills promptly to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe breakfast area
- Assist with catering or special events as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or POS system
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to follow proper hygiene standards
- Basic cooking skills are a plus (e.g., preparing eggs, bacon)
- Familiarity with coffee machines and brewing techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts including weekends and holidays
