Breakfast Attendant

Our focus service hotel is looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our busy and professional team. Ideally, you'll have some prior experience in hotel environment, be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has the reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with.

Essential Job Functions

• Preparing breakfast bar; responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing hot and cold foods
• Restocking breakfast bar with required options
• Restocking mini fridge with required options
• Cleaning tables and breakfast area after guests
• Throwing out trash during shift when applicable
• Cleaning public areas, such as lobby and Public Restrooms
• Retrieve, stock, restock and clean the Breakfast Pantry
• Engage with guests & respond to guest inquiries and requests as appropriate
• Report any damage, mechanical problems, or missing room equipment/items
• Promptly turn in found items with documentation to Lost and Found
• Participate in deep cleaning programs as assigned

General Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to successfully complete tasks in prescribed time frame 5:30am-11:30pm
• Ability to work alone to clean all zones of the breakfast area/kitchen with an even temperament
• Effectively communicate with our guests
• Good eye for detail

Work Environment & Other

• This job operates in a hotel environment, the majority of the work is performed in breakfast and public space areas
• Requires the use of cleaning tools and equipment, cleaning chemicals and manual labor to deliver clean and ready rooms
• Constant physical movement is involved in performing duties and tasks of a Breakfast Attendant
• Frequently position self to clean assigned areas such as the floor, under tables and chairs, behind furniture, and high and low fixtures throughout the work shift is required
• Will transport up to 300 lbs., will position up to 50 lbs. and will move up to 30 lbs.
