Breakfast Attendant

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Ruckersville is looking for a Part Time Breakfast Attendant.

The Breakfast Attendant will oversee the breakfast area for our guests. Prepare food and beverage for breakfast function. Maintain a clean kitchen and dining area. Interact with guests, ask about their stay and be able to answer questions about the hotel and the area.

Responsibilities: Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following food safety regulations. Replenish all food and beverage items during the meal period.Keep all items fully stocked. Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures. Keep all tables bused and cleaned. Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast. Build rapport with all guests at all times, solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution. All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly and enjoys talking with people.

Additional Duties:

• Attendants are also tasked with acting as representatives of the hotel are therefore required to provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to guests. Paperwork, record-keeping, vacuuming, kitchen or other custodial tasks may also be delegated to the breakfast attendant. Other duties may be assigned by management or detailed in the advertisement for the position.
