Are you a creative individual with a passion for creating delicious food? As a Cook, you will help create lasting positive memories by crafting delicious meals for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food based on orders from our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
  • Assist in menu planning to create appealing breakfast options that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Manage food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients using proper knife skills and techniques.
  • Support the dietary department by understanding special dietary requirements and accommodating them during meal preparation.
  • Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking stations as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service, ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh breakfast dishes to guests or dining areas.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
  • Experience with menu planning and meal preparation, especially in fine dining or catering environments.
  • Demonstrated culinary skills including knife proficiency and attention to detail in food presentation.
  • Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special diets.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
