Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes with precision and flair
• Follow standardized recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality in every plate served
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast offerings or improvements based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver timely service during busy morning hours while maintaining high standards of presentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dietary department settings, dietary aide roles, or similar food service environments preferred
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within restaurant or catering settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling practices, and sanitation standards
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques for breakfast dishes
• Experience with menu planning, fine dining standards, or culinary arts is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
