Line Cook - Breakfast and cold kitchen

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team, focusing on breakfast service and cold kitchen preparation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast dishes and maintaining standards in the cold kitchen, including salads, dressings, sandwiches, and appetizers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for breakfast and cold prep.
  • Prepare cold dishes such as salads, sandwiches, cold entrees, and dressings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and prep areas.
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
  • Communicate effectively with the team and assist other stations as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen procedures.
  • Assist in inventory and restocking of cold kitchen supplies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a breakfast cook or in a cold kitchen station (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and cold food presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred or required by location).
  • Willingness to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
