We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to oversee the breakfast service and cold kitchen section. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality food, excellent presentation, and the ability to work under pressure during busy morning hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality breakfast items (hot and cold) in accordance with set standards and recipes.
- Manage the cold kitchen section, including salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, dressings, and canapés.
- Ensure mise en place is done for breakfast service and cold kitchen prep.
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CDP or strong Demi Chef with relevant experience in breakfast and cold kitchen.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends/holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
