Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, fruits, and other morning specialties
- Follow standardized recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy breakfast hours
- Support dietary department needs by accommodating special dietary requests and ensuring proper food handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary or culinary roles, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
- Experience with catering or large-scale food service is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
