Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Provide support during catering events, including meal preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while handling food.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Strong skills in meal preparation, including cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
- Experience with catering services is a plus.
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
