Breast Care Coordinator-FT-Imaging-Provo

Position Summary: Come work with an exceptional Imaging Team! The Breast Care Coordinator supports the Mammography team by managing patient information, coordinating follow-up care, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role helps indirectly facilitate the flow of information and communication between patients, providers, and diagnostic services to support timely diagnosis and care. We will train the right person!

Essential Job Functions:

• Transcribe mammography reports accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and maintain patient data within our systems.
• Record and update deceased patient information as appropriate.
• Print and mail paper correspondence related to patient imaging results and follow-up care.
• Track and follow up on recommended breast imaging procedures including:

• Mammograms

• Breast biopsies

• Breast MRIs

• Breast ultrasounds

• Coordinate and monitor patient follow-up to ensure recommended diagnostic care is completed.
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support communication between imaging staff, providers, and patients.
• Help ensure the overall smooth flow of care from breast imaging through follow-up, diagnosis, and treatment coordination.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Ability to manage follow-up tracking processes effectively.

Hours: 8am-5pm, however hours and workdays can be flexible.
