Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Bridge Engineering Designer to join our team. In this role you will support the design and delivery of TXDOT bridge and transportation structure projects across the state.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work under the guidance of a licensed engineer to support analysis and design of TXDOT structures including steel bridges, prestressed concrete bridges, and cast in place systems.
• Prepare design calculations, 2D and 3D models, plan sheets, and other technical deliverables following TXDOT standards and Parsons templates.
• Assist with developing engineering reports, specifications, quantities, and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer.
• Coordinate closely with roadway, drainage, and other internal design groups to ensure full project integration.
• Track and review work completed by technicians or designers as needed.
• Present design concepts in internal meetings and participate in project discussions with TXDOT when requested.
• Manage timely completion of assigned tasks and maintain clear communication with project managers and discipline leads.
• Complete timesheets and expense reports on time and follow internal QA and documentation procedures.
• Take ownership of professional development by seeking feedback, learning new design tools, and pursuing personal growth goals.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (or related field)
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• TxDot bridge or transportation design experience

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
