This role plays an integral part in supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting within a fast‑paced, collaborative, and technology‑enabled environment. Responsibilities:
In this position, you will take ownership of core accounting activities for a diverse client base, leveraging Sage Intacct to execute and streamline day to day transactional accounting while leading month end and year end close processes. Responsibilities include performing bank and account reconciliations (prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets), maintaining general ledger accuracy, preparing journal entries with supporting documentation, overseeing AP/AR workflows to ensure correct coding, recording accruals, and resolving complex accounting issues. This includes ensuring financial data is complete and accurate within a cloud based accounting system. You will also assist with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and process improvements that enhance efficiency through effective use of accounting technology and internal controls. This role requires strong judgment and the ability to independently manage priorities while maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of transactional accounting and month‑end and year‑end close. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, and experience with Sage Intacct is a strong plus. Successful candidates are detail‑oriented, adaptable, self‑motivated, and highly communicative, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple clients in a fully remote, team‑based environment. Proficiency in Excel and experience with tools such as Expensify, Salesforce, or automated AP solutions are beneficial.
