Job Purpose
Ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the Core Network, aligned with agreed network availability targets. The role is responsible for deep technical resolution, proactive support actions, and minimizing service resolution time across all core network domains.
Responsibilities
-
Ensure effective execution of operational plans while minimizing the strategy–execution gap.
-
Manage internal resources and contribute to departmental strategic direction and tactical plans aligned with overall organizational objectives.
-
Develop and monitor performance metrics to track progress, maintain operational momentum, and translate objectives into actionable, measurable goals.
-
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and motivate team members to enhance workflows, processes, products, and service delivery in a fast-evolving telecommunications environment.
-
Test, validate, and apply core network configurations on GC/BP data center nodes, ensuring full integration of triple-play service enablers and delivery of Ready-For-Service (RFS) nodes.
-
Verify the adequacy and scalability of Transport and Access Network media to ensure end-to-end performance (Latency, Jitter, Packet Loss) and support the full GC/BP service provisioning lifecycle.
-
Ensure efficient operation of Fixed Voice services by maintaining forwarding capabilities across FMC/IMS peering points over the MPLS core, supported by proper QoS policing and fast-reroute mechanisms.
-
Design, operate, and optimize multicast QoS/IPTV network architecture to ensure synchronized content delivery between content providers and end-user STBs.
