Broadcast Technology Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Broadcast Technology Director to lead and manage broadcast systems, infrastructure, and technical operations. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable transmission, supporting production teams, and driving innovation in broadcast technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee broadcast technology operations, including transmission, production, and post-production systems
• Manage and maintain broadcast infrastructure, equipment, and networks
• Ensure high-quality, uninterrupted broadcast delivery across platforms
• Lead technical teams, engineers, and support staff
• Implement and upgrade broadcast systems and workflows
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure rapid resolution
• Manage budgets, vendors, and technology investments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in broadcast engineering or technical operations
• Strong knowledge of broadcast systems, signal transmission, and media workflows
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD3,400.000 per month
