About the Role

GH Logistics is an asset-backed logistics brokerage operating in fast-moving, time-sensitive freight environments. Overnight execution matters — and this role exists to protect on-time performance when freight is moving and leadership teams are offline.

We are hiring a 4AM to 2PM coordinator to support our brokerage operation by monitoring live loads, identifying risk, and communicating issues clearly and early.

This role sits at the intersection of visibility, communication, and operational awareness.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

This position focuses on maintaining overnight load visibility and ensuring issues don’t go unnoticed.

Core responsibilities include:

• Monitoring all active brokerage loads overnight to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Tracking shipment progress using internal systems and carrier updates
• Identifying potential delays, fall-offs, or service risks
• Communicating issues clearly to the appropriate internal teams
• Escalating time-sensitive problems using defined protocols
• Updating systems, notes, and trackers accurately and consistently
• Supporting clean handoffs to the daytime brokerage and operations teams

This role is critical to maintaining service reliability and protecting customer commitments.

Role Scope & Capability Expectations

This position allows for different capability levels, and compensation is aligned accordingly.

• Some candidates may primarily surface issues and communicate risk
• More experienced candidates may also assist with problem-solving, such as:
• supporting repowers or recoveries
• coordinating with carriers during exceptions
• helping stabilize issues before morning teams arrive

Final scope and compensation will be determined based on demonstrated skill set, judgment, and experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfort working overnight in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to track details, updates, and timelines accurately
• Experience working with schedules, status updates, or logistics data
• High sense of responsibility and urgency

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in logistics, brokerage, dispatch, or transportation support
• Familiarity with track & trace, carrier communication, or load monitoring
• Experience handling exceptions or time-sensitive issues

Compensation & Structure

• Base Salary: starting at $50,000
• Compensation is based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Candidates capable of supporting recoveries and problem resolution will be considered at the higher end of the range
• Shift from 4:00AM to 2:00PM
