Budget Assistant (5514)

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Budget Assistant in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze budget information across financial systems.
Perform budget queries, download reports, and track commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
Monitor and report variances between allocations and obligations.
Input budgetary and accounting data into financial systems.
Collect, input, and analyze data from cross‑automated financial applications, spreadsheets, and databases.
Reconcile budget execution data with accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
Develop reports and tracking systems for monitoring expenditures and appropriated funding.
Review financial documents for proper accounting classification and assist with cost adjustments and projections.
Provide administrative and budget support to the Administrative Officer, Budget Analyst, and budget team members.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Minimum Relevant Experience: 2 years
Experience with BAS Sunflower is preferred.
