1- Role Purpose:

  • The role holder will be responsible to prepare OSP budgets’ plans, proposals, reporting, analyzing variances and implementing budget utilization plans.


2- Key Activities:

  • Contributes to program budget plans based on opportunities and internal project requirements to obtain leadership approval for program spending.
  • Implements financial and accounting system controls and standards to ensure timely submission of financial and variance reports.
  • Perform related duties such as responding to inquiries regarding budget requests and reasons for budget recommendations.
  • Significantly participate in the month-end closing process by providing consolidated financial and business reports.
  • Assist with executive budget proposals, forecasting, annual budget, and annual operating plans.
  • Handle the budget preparation process and collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate and comprehensive budgets.
  • Collect expected software project costs and prepare a budget taking into account risks
  • Monitor and control expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost saving measures.
  • Collect the budget requirement of the head of the department and analyze it.
  • Perform any other relevant duties determined by the line manager.


3- Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar.
  • Certified: CMA or SOCPA would be preferable.



4- Experience:

  • From 3 - 5 years' experience in Budget functions.
