Go4 Cannabis is a new retail dispensary opening in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Our goal is to create a welcoming, educational, and community-focused cannabis retail experience.

We believe cannabis culture is best shared by passionate people who genuinely enjoy the plant, the community, and the creativity around it.

We're looking for someone who not only enjoys working with customers, but who also loves creating content and telling stories online.

The Role

This is a unique hybrid role combining budtender responsibilities with social media content creation.

You will help customers find the right products in-store while also helping build the voice and presence of our brand online.

If you already enjoy making videos, posting content, or engaging with cannabis culture on social media, this role gives you the opportunity to turn that creativity into part of your job.

Budtender Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety regulations
• Follow all compliance and ID verification procedures
• Help create a positive and welcoming store environment
• Possess a service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences for each guest
• Provide personalized Go4 visit by understanding individual needs and recommending suitable products
• Conduct product demos to educate customers on product features, effects, and responsible usage tips
• Recognize opportunities for upselling to maximize sales without compromising customer trust by highlighting benefits and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction
• Interact professionally with a friendly phone etiquette for remote inquiries or follow-ups via phone, and in person, demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory counts
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking practices, and retail sales strategies
• Maintain store cleanliness, and merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and local regulations related to cannabis retailing

Social Media Creator Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content including photos, videos, and posts that promote our products and brand story
• Help create and manage our presence on: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other avenues as applicable
• Develop creative short-form content featuring: product education, behind-the-scenes moments, store culture, cannabis lifestyle content
• Capture photos and videos inside the store (in compliance with regulations)
• Help build our online brand voice and community presence
• Track post performance and engagementIdeal

We're looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable speaking with customers and on camera
• Has experience creating social media content
• Understands or enjoys cannabis culture
• Is creative, outgoing, and reliable
• Has strong communication skills
• Enjoys learning about cannabis products and educating others
• Is enthusiastic to be part of a dispensary-opening crew in and has a strong desire to be a member of a successful team
• Has the ability to motivate team members to participate in social media posts
• Is able to perform product demos confidently while explaining features clearly and accurately

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends
• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Social media experience strongly preferred
