Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Bartender to join our vibrant café environment. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, cocktails and food while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and food with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate Toast POS systems accurately for orders and transactions
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision using retail math skills
• Engage with customers to provide friendly, efficient service and answer inquiries about menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods through effective time management

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista and/or bartender in a café or food service environment
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling, and food preparation procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience with coffee preparation, serving, or the food industry is advantageous
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 50 pounds or more, and work flexible hours including weekends or mornings
• ABRA certification desirable
