The Role

As a Buggy Driver, you will be responsible for transporting guests and staff around the resort in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. This role involves excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a thorough knowledge of the resort grounds and safety protocols.


Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and driving protocols, including the use of seat belt, and ensuring that the buggy is in good working condition.
  • Buggy Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the buggy, including cleaning, refueling, and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
  • Route Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the resort layout, including key locations and the most efficient routes to ensure timely and accurate transportation.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues related to transportation in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the front desk and other resort staff to coordinate transportation requests and provide timely service.
  • Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff, including proper handling of the buggy in different weather conditions.


Building Successful Relationships:

  • Resort Staff: Collaborate with other resort staff to coordinate transportation needs and provide seamless service.
  • Management: Provide regular updates to management regarding buggy operations, maintenance needs, and any guest feedback or concerns.
  • Maintenance Team: Work with the maintenance team to ensure the buggy is well-maintained and address any mechanical issues promptly.


Qualification Standards:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a driver or in a customer service role is desirable.
  • Grooming: All Buggy Drivers must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided).
