SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
This position will report to Builder Construction Loan Administration (“Builder CLA”) Team Lead. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, oversight of all administration, monitoring and funding of Homebuilder Construction Lines of Credit, Commercial A&D Residential Related Projects and Commercial Other 1-4 Family Construction Loans (“Construction Draw Projects”). Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures and all applicable federal and state rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary contact responsible for review and approval of Construction Draw Projects, budget monitoring and specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:
Thorough understanding of the documentation required for proper administration and monitoring of Construction Draw Projects
Thorough understanding of the review and processing of Construction Draw Project requests in order to ensure proper disbursement of funds as set forth in the Credit Approval, Loan Agreement, Department Procedures and Bank Policies and Procedures
Setup, maintenance, and on-going monitoring of Sources and Uses and/or inventory spreadsheets and/or CLCS and/or Built software as applicable to each Construction Draw Project to ensure sufficient funds are available to complete construction of each specific property
Coordinate and perform a detailed review of the inspection and title documents to identify project concerns, cost overruns, current construction status, and title issues
Specific to Homebuilder Construction Lines of Credit: Order residential appraisals, flood certifications, title documents, prepare various loan documents, including satisfaction documents, as well as various internal transaction processing
Knowledge of liability, hazard, builder’s risk & flood insurance
Liaising with Bank customers, third party vendors (i.e. attorneys, title agents, inspectors, etc.) and peer employees by providing assistance through healthy and positive interactions
All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management
OTHER SKILLS
Strong construction loan administration experience and general banking knowledge
Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, high degree of accuracy
Ability to make sound decisions. This may include making on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions; weighing customer satisfaction issues with the Bank’s exposure to loss or fraud and the ability to think through and rationalize decisions
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information
Must possess basic English language skills, including spelling and punctuation, in order to write and speak clearly, and effectively
Must be well-organized
Must have effective listening skills demonstrated by the ability to listen to others talk (without interruption), understand them, and then propose solutions or make contributions based on the points made by others
Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to function well under pressure
Must be able to remain composed under pressure and respond to customer and coworker concerns regularly
Must be patient and willing to help others in solving problems while always maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education : Requires High School Diploma or GED, degree in Business or Finance desirable or equivalent work experience in related field
Experience : Two or more years’ experience with real estate loan closings and construction draw monitoring
Knowledge :
Background/understanding of commercial construction
Detail oriented with critical thinking
Sound judgment applied in the analysis of problems
Independent action exercised in making decisions to solve problems
