Building and Grounds Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment? We’re seeking a dedicated Grounds Porter to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our community.

Duties

Conduct daily inspections of the property grounds and buildings to ensure security and functionality, including checking that doors and locks are secure and that all lighting is operational

• Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas, including building exterior hallways.
• Walk grounds, buildings to ensure all buildings secured.
• Assist with trash removal, including cleaning dumpster areas.
• Power washing sidewalks, parking lots as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Support the maintenance team with minor tasks as needed.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lawn care or grounds keeping is preferred.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Shift: Full time (Tuesday-Saturday shift)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
