Job Title: Building Cleaner

Department: Facilities / Maintenance

Reports To: Facilities Supervisor / Building Manager

Job Summary:

The Building Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness throughout the facility. This role ensures that all areas—including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces—are kept in a clean and safe condition for employees, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures.

Empty trash bins and replace liners in all designated areas.

Clean windows, glass doors, and surfaces as required.

Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies (e.g., soap, tissue, paper towels).

Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.

Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.

Assist with special cleaning projects or event setups as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience an advantage.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling procedures.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to [X] lbs, standing, and bending.
