Job Title: Building Construction Safety Engineer

Location: Jorhat, Assam (On Site)
Experience: 1 to 2 Years
Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Safety
Certification: Certificate in Environmental Management / Human & Environmental Safety (Mandatory)
Salary: 35K - 40k per month
Joining: Immediate / Within 15 Days

Job Description:

We are looking for a competent Building Construction Safety Engineer for our site in Jorhat, Assam. The candidate will ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations during construction activities, conduct inspections, and maintain safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety & environmental policies at the construction site
• Conduct daily safety and environmental inspections and risk assessments
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective measures
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site workers
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety and environmental standards
• Maintain safety and environmental documentation and reporting
• Monitor proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Investigate safety incidents and prepare detailed reports

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of construction safety and environmental standards
• Experience in building construction site safety management
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to enforce safety discipline on site
• Certification in Environmental Management / Human & Environmental Safety is mandatory
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
