Estimating & Tendering
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities from architectural and engineering drawings
- Analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate tenders
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation
- Assess project risks and allowances
Cost Management & Commercial Control
- Monitor project costs against budgets and report variances
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost reports
- Manage variations, claims, and change orders
- Assist with contract administration and progress valuations
- Conduct cost-value reconciliations
Procurement & Contract Support
- Assist with subcontractor procurement and contract negotiation
- Review contracts to ensure financial and commercial compliance
- Liaise with site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
Project Support & Reporting
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Provide regular financial updates to management
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Building Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and contracts
- Experience with residential, commercial, or civil projects (specify as required)
