Building Maintenance Mechanic

Position

• Building Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Four years of full-time, paid experience in general building maintenance, heavy construction or building trades work including but not limited to:
• Mechanical
• Electrical & HVAC systems including boilers, pumps, and compressors
• Ability to plan and complete all phases of carpentry, plumbing, rigging, and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain building equipment, controls and systems.

Special Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders
• Must be able to raise and work on scaffolding
• NYS Driver’s license; Appropriate licensure must be maintained throughout employment

Location:

• Batavia-travel to other campuses will be required
• 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Salary:

• $40,000-$50,000
• Benefit package and NYS Pension
