Job Summary:
Project Manager Buildings is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing building construction projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders involved in real estate development.
Responsibilities :

Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management.

Define project milestones and ensure alignment with development and business objectives.

Coordinate with design consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Oversee day-to-day construction activities for building projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control across all construction stages.

Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and compliance with safety and building standards.

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and cashflow forecasts.

Review contractor claims, variations, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Manage procurement processes, including contractor selection, tender reviews, and negotiation of terms.

Ensure contract compliance, track performance, and address deviations or disputes.

Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and resources needed for construction.

Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and safety standards across project sites.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.

Conduct regular audits to identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and performance indicators.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and authorities.

Maintain open communication with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, and snagging activities.

Ensure completion of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final documentation.

Manage handover to the operations and facilities management teams..
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Construction Management.

15+ years of experience in building construction project management, preferably within the real estate or property development industry.

Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and real estate development life cycles.

Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and MS Office.
