Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Officer with hands-on experience in procurement of building materials. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, negotiation abilities, and knowledge of construction materials and market rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of building materials such as cement, steel, tiles, plumbing, electrical items, paints, hardware, etc.
• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store/warehouse teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
• Maintain vendor relationships and performance records.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in building materials procurement.
