Building Supervisor

Work responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the building and its facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise cleaning, security, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth functioning.
• Monitor and manage building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and elevators.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Manage vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance work.
• Address tenant or occupant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and incidents.
• Prepare reports on building performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure emergency procedures and safety protocols are in place and understood by all occupants.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.)
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with health, safety, and building regulations
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
• Ability to manage vendors and contractors effectively
• Attention to detail and organizational skills

Academic Qualification:

• Minimum diploma / degree
• Basic to medium proficiency in English reading is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building operations, facility supervision, or maintenance management.
• Experience in managing building systems and coordinating maintenance teams.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and building compliance standards.
