Building Watchman

• Conducting routine patrols of the building, including parking areas, staircases, roofs, and perimeters.
• Monitoring CCTV cameras, surveillance systems, and alarms for suspicious activity.
• Securing all doors, windows, and gates after hours.
• Checking that security lights and equipment are functional.
• Controlling the entry and exit of visitors, contractors, and tenants.
• Verifying credentials and maintaining visitor/vehicle logs.
• Ensuring only authorized individuals enter the building.
• Acting as the first responder to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Contacting law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Guiding occupants during evacuations.
• Reporting maintenance needs, such as water leaks, broken lights, or elevator issues.
• Operating generators during power failures and monitoring fuel levels.
• Supervising the receipt of deliveries or utility personnel.
• Sometimes performing cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping common areas, or garbage removal.
• Keeping daily logs of activities and reporting incidents to management.
• Enforcing building rules, such as parking regulations.
• Handing over the shift to the next watchman and providing updates on security issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month
