Business Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis Department
Time : 5:00PM - 2:00AM Monday to Friday
Location : Civic Center , Phase IV , Bharia Town , Rawalpindi
Position Objective :
Drive day‑to‑day financial insight and operational discipline across 40+ U.S. hubs. Analysts partner with warehouse managers to convert operational data (labor punches, yard status, inbound/outbound schedules, trailer dwell, claims, utilities, scans and event logs) into actionable performance intelligence. Analysts execute the analytics cycle and surface exceptions and push continuous‑improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Warehouse Manager by preparing daily schedules for yard operations, inbound receipts, and outbound dispatches based on sales forecasts/orders registered.
- Calculate the precise staffing requirements for each of those activities; identify excessive / idle hours. Track trailer/container dwell; drive aged‑equipment alerts to Warehouse Manager.
- Produce daily activity heat‑maps to isolate idle labor and bottlenecks.
- Work on making the controllable P&L lines more efficient and flag adverse variances with root‑cause analysis.
- Based on the log of damage claims, prepare trend analysis and propose counter‑measures.
- Benchmark utilities spend vs. volume, throughput, floor area and staff; recommend and follow corrective actions.
- Own the daily reporting cadences and ensure on‑time delivery to Warehouse Manager and vice presidents.
- Champion continuous‑improvement with warehouse managers; quantify savings.
- Extract time‑punch, WMS, routing and utility data; build robust Excel models (pivot, Power Query, VBA/macros) to spotlight inefficiency and cost leakage.
- Coordinate with BI team to migrate mature Excel models into Power BI reports
Qualification & Experience:
Education: BBA / BS Accounting & Finance / BS Supply‑Chain. CIMA/ CMA/ ICMAP in progress will be preferred
- Experience: 1–3 yrs; 3–5 yrs ops‑finance or warehouse analytics
- Technical: Expert Excel, Power Query, basic SQL/DAX/ Power BI is a plus.
