1st Shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM - 3/2/2 Schedule
Pay Rate: $22.25 to $31.00/hr (based on experience)
The primary role of the facility technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency and maintenance of the Building/Grounds and support equipment.
Knows and follows HACCP program and principles, USDA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains tool room equipment regarding plates, knives and blades; performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and physical structures, and on the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems; Ensures safe and optimum functioning equipment; systems, and processes .

Performs set up/tear down of process equipment daily.

Facility rounds to inspect and record various repairs needed.

Inspects facility safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems to insure compliance is always maintained.

Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company. This person will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information
QUALIFICATIONS:

One-year experience in facility maintenance and repair

Familiarity with forklift, skid loaders, and similar equipment a plus

Requires basic math, reading, and writing skills, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain a rapid pace for extended periods

Self-motivation and team attitude essential

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and have the physical ability to do the following tasks for extended periods of time: standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing up steps and using ladders

Able to work in loud and hot and cold environments

Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required

Must have a valid driver’s license
