Bus Attendant

Industry & Sector: Transportation & Logistics — Passenger Transport and School/Corporate Bus Services operating across the UAE. This on-site role supports safe, compliant, and customer-focused daily routes for schools, corporate clients, and community transport.

About The Opportunity

We are hiring a reliable Bus Attendant to ensure passenger safety, comfort and compliance on daily routes across the UAE. You will be part of an operations-focused team responsible for boarding procedures, onboard safety, incident management and clear communication with drivers, dispatchers, parents and supervisors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist passengers during boarding and alighting; verify passenger lists and seat assignments when applicable.
• Enforce onboard safety rules (seat belts, aisle clearance), secure luggage and mobility aids, and monitor passenger behavior throughout the route.
• Provide child supervision on school routes; support special-needs passengers as required and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform pre- and post-route checks for cleanliness and emergency equipment; report vehicle defects or safety concerns to maintenance/dispatch.
• Respond to onboard incidents and emergencies: administer basic first aid, coordinate evacuation procedures and contact emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records; communicate promptly with parents, supervisors and dispatch about delays, incidents or route changes.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Valid UAE work authorization
• Prior experience in school or passenger transport (bus attendant, transport assistant or similar)
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain as part of onboarding
• Basic conversational English; Arabic language ability is highly advantageous
• Ability to pass background and pre-employment checks
• Physical ability to assist boarding, secure luggage and support emergency evacuation
  
  

Preferred

• Experience working with children or passengers with special needs
• Training in passenger safety, crowd management or child safeguarding
• Familiarity with attendance/roster systems and basic mobile communication tools
