Job Opportunity: Bus Driver.

We are looking for a Bus Driver to join our team.

This position is for our Al Ikhaa Contracting companies located in Dubai -UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy buses/ light vehicle, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, regulations, and road safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all transportation laws, including speed limits, seatbelt use, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow truck driving regulations (such as size, weight, route restrictions, parking, and rest periods) along with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely and safe deliveries, considering road conditions, traffic, and schedules.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts, logbooks, and trip reports.
• Manage invoicing control processes.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers and recipients during deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate regularly with dispatchers and supervisors to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, and issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
• Verify and collect delivery instructions before each trip.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Perform other official duties as assigned by authorized personnel.
• Ensure a neat and clean uniform is worn at all times.
• Provide staff transportation for pick-up and drop-off from accommodation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must hold at least two valid UAE driving licenses: Heavy Bus (Category 6), or Light Vehicle (Category 3).
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Healthy, energetic, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Proficient in Hindi and/or English.
• Well-versed with all major routes across the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE traffic laws and speed regulations.

Experience:

• Heavy Bus driving: 2 years (Required)
• Light Vehicle - Manual: 2 year (Required)
