Role Purpose:

The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees/passengers to and from designated locations while ensuring a smooth, punctual, and comfortable travel experience. This role plays a vital part in daily operations by maintaining reliable staff mobility, reducing delays, and supporting overall workforce efficiency. The driver ensures full compliance with UAE traffic regulations, company HSE standards, and internal transport procedures. In addition to safe driving, the role requires proactive vehicle checks, effective communication, and a strong customer-service approach to maintain high safety and service standards at all times..

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Route Management

• Operate buses on fixed routes and charter services as per the daily roster.

• Pick up and drop off employees/passengers according to assigned schedules.

• Follow route plans, traffic rules, and timetables to ensure on-time operations.

• Immediately communicate delays, incidents, or route changes to the Fleet Manager.

Vehicle Safety & Inspection

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring all safety equipment (fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, emergency exits) is operational.

• Perform routine checks on tires, lights, brakes, fuel, AC, and overall vehicle condition.

• Report malfunctions, damage, or accidents promptly to the supervisor.

Passenger Care & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable interior environment for passengers.

• Enforce safety rules, including no-smoking, proper seating, and orderly boarding.

• Handle emergencies calmly and follow evacuation procedures and safety protocols.

• Assist passengers professionally and provide basic guidance when required..

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and inspection checklists.

• Report incidents, maintenance issues, or operational concerns in a timely manner.

• Participate in safety briefings, training sessions, and regular performance reviews.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License no 2.

• 2–3 years of UAE bus driving experience (school/staff/passenger transport).

• Clean driving and conduct record; strong knowledge of UAE routes and traffic patterns.

• Ability to communicate in basic English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Strong customer service orientation, patience, and professional behavior.
