Bus Driver

Job Title: Bus Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company buses to transport employees, passengers, or clients to designated locations
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while allowing for necessary adjustments due to traffic or operational needs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned bus
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking, ensuring safety at all times
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or delays promptly to management
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, fuel usage, and incident reports
• Coordinate with dispatch or administration regarding routes, schedules, and special assignments
• Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid local driving license for heavy bus/vehicle (appropriate category)
• Proven experience as a bus driver or professional driver
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Physically fit and able to handle long hours of driving
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to communicate in basic English (Arabic is an advantage)

Working Conditions:

• Flexible working hours depending on operational requirements
• May require overtime, early morning, evening, or weekend shifts
• Work involves prolonged periods of sitting and driving
