Job Title: Bus Driver

Department: Transportation / Facilities Services

Job Purpose:
To safely transport passengers to designated destinations while ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, company policies, and safety standards. The Bus Driver is also responsible for conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting or identifying basic mechanical issues to support vehicle reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company buses and transport passengers according to assigned schedules and routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Monitor fuel, oil, coolant, tire pressure, and other basic vehicle conditions.
• Identify and report vehicle defects, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and basic corrective actions when appropriate and authorized.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, vehicle inspection reports, and mileage records.
• Assist passengers as required and provide professional customer service.
• Report accidents, incidents, delays, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs and servicing.
• Maintain the vehicle and company property in good condition.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Bus Driving License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bus Driver.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and common automotive faults.
• Good driving record with no major traffic violations.

Required Skills:

• Safe and defensive driving skills.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify common mechanical and electrical issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules when required.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and transportation regulations.

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 - ﷼1,600.00 per month
