We are looking for an experienced Busbar Fabricator with proven expertise in copper busbar cutting, bending, drilling, and assembly. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in busbar fabrication for switchgear, distribution panels, and related electrical systems, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, bend, and drill copper busbars according to design drawings and technical requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble busbars for switchgear, panels, and power distribution systems.
- Operate busbar machines (cutting, punching, bending) and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper finishing of busbars, including deburring and insulation where required.
- Maintain high standards of quality and adherence to technical drawings/specifications.
- Work closely with the design and assembly teams to meet project timelines.
- Follow all safety standards and company policies during fabrication and assembly processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in copper busbar fabrication (minimum 10 years, preferably in switchgear/panel board manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of busbar machines, tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
- Good understanding of safety standards in electrical fabrication.
- Physically fit to handle manual fabrication work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with busbar fabrication in addition to copper.
- Familiarity with busbar insulation techniques (heat shrink, epoxy, PVC sleeves, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and panel assembly.
