Cable Tray Fabricator

Role Overview:

The Cable Tray Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing cable trays used in solar energy and related electrical projects. The role requires technical expertise in fabrication work, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble cable trays as per design specifications.
• Install cable trays at project sites ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
• Read, understand, and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, cutting machines, and welding plants.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project engineers, supervisors, and team members for smooth execution.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Matric / F.Sc. (Intermediate)
• Preferred: Technical diploma/certification in fabrication or welding
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in cable tray fabrication and installation
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, and fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical site safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
