Fabric Store Executive - Bridal Couture

Lahore, Pakistan

A fabric store executive for bridal couture in Lahore is responsible for managing fabric inventory, coordinating with suppliers, working with designers and production teams to source and select fabrics, ensuring fabric quality and availability for bridal collections, and maintaining a well-organized fabric store with proper stock control and SOP implementation. The role requires knowledge of luxury fabrics, understanding of bridal couture needs, and potentially experience with ERP systems and Excel. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Overseeing the stock of various fabrics, embellishments, and raw materials for bridal wear.
  • Supplier Relations: Liaising with suppliers to track deliveries, report discrepancies, and ensure timely material availability.
  • Material Sourcing: Identifying and sourcing high-quality fabrics, trims, and other raw materials suitable for bridal couture, according to the designs and brand vision.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that all fabrics meet the quality standards required for intricate bridal gowns and other bridal wear.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with designers, procurement, and production teams to ensure the availability of all necessary fabrics for planned collections.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
  • System Implementation: Implementing and following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and potentially an ERP system for better stock control and visibility.
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly resolving any fabric-related issues to prevent production delays.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Fabric Knowledge: Strong knowledge of luxury fabrics, embellishments, and other raw materials used in bridal wear.
  • Bridal Couture Understanding: Familiarity with the unique requirements of bridal fashion, including intricate details and specific fits.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and potentially experience with ERP systems like SAP B1.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize and maintain a well-managed inventory and warehouse.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with various teams, including design, procurement, and production.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the fashion industry, preferably with fashion brands or in eastern wear, is often required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
