Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to support our Neo4j portfolio. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and possess relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
- Deliver actionable, data-driven business insights by combining technical analysis with business and operational knowledge.
- Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and visual reports to support decision-making.
- Execute data analysis autonomously using established data and analytics strategies.
- Act as a liaison between business units, PPM, digital teams, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business data owners to define and build simple, effective data models.
- Integrate existing tools to automate data ingestion, manipulation, quality control, and analysis.
- 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in data analysis, data mining, and insight generation in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and business intelligence applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming languages is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to deliver value-driven insights with attention to detail.
- Applied knowledge across all stages of the data lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory, no exceptions).
- Additional qualifications in business, data analytics, or related technical fields are a plus.
