Business Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our customer success team building next-generation, AI-driven products for leading institutional clients. The role sits at the intersection of finance, product innovation, and applied AI, helping translate complex business requirements into structured workflows, insight frameworks, and data-enabled decision tools.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, product teams, and data scientists to define, validate, and operationalize AI-powered solutions that improve analytical depth, governance, and execution excellence.

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Product Structuring

• Partner with stakeholders to capture business priorities and convert them into clear functional and analytical requirements.
• Support design of user journeys, workflows, and dashboards for AI-enabled decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and insight generation across critical business processes.
  
  

AI Prompt Design & Insight Generation

• Contribute to the creation and refinement of AI prompts and templates used for analysis, summarization, and scenario generation.
• Collaborate with data scientists to test and validate prompt accuracy, ensuring relevance, transparency, and explainability of AI outputs.
• Maintain libraries of reusable prompt structures, taxonomy mappings, and prompting frameworks.
  
  

Data & Insight Governance

• Assist in mapping business data requirements, ensuring data lineage, consistency, and quality.
• Support design of metadata, validation workflows, and traceability standards that underpin explainable insights.
  
  

Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement

• Prepare professional documentation including functional requirements, user stories, meeting summaries, and executive presentations.
• Participate in workshops, sprint reviews, and stakeholder discussions to align priorities and track deliverables.
  
  

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Consolidate key metrics and milestones into dashboards and management reports.
• Support post-delivery analysis of business impact and user adoption.
  
  

Qualifications

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in business analysis is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or digital transformation within financial institutions, investment firms, or asset-management environments.
• Mandatory experience or deep exposure to at least one of: Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investment Banking – including deal evaluation, due diligence, or fund management workflows.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into structured analytical frameworks and documentation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems, prompt engineering, or generative-AI applications for insight generation (prior hands-on experience a strong plus).
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
