Business Analyst

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a liaison between business units, developers, and other stakeholders to define, document, and optimize business processes.
• Evaluate current workflows to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and potential technology solutions.
• Facilitate process mapping sessions and create detailed documentation of business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Partner with the development teams, project teams, and business leaders to scope and design solutions.
• Lead or support projects, ensuring deliverables align with strategic objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Analyze data to support recommendations for operational improvement, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
• Assist in the implementation of new processes and tools, including training and change management support for business units when needed.
• Develop and maintain a centralized library of process documentation, workflows, and solution designs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to assess needs, recommend improvements, and measure results.
• Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act
• Support enterprise-wide initiatives and assist the SVP of Strategy & Transformation with strategic projects as assigned.

What You Need To Succeed:

Education & Experience Required:

• BS/BA college degree in a Business-related discipline.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial services, technology, operations, or related roles
• Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or PMP are preferred.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Working knowledge of systems, tools, such as Symitar, Power BI, Power Automate,
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML and Python preferred.
• Strong understanding of business process design, documentation, and automation.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Familiarity with workflow automation, reporting, and system integration concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
