Job Title: Business Analyst – Retail / Finance Industry

Shift Hours: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM IST (Aligned with US EST Hours)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst with a strong product mindset and deep domain expertise in the retail or finance software sector. As a key member of our team, you will drive business analysis initiatives, manage and document software requirements, coordinate with project leads, and play a pivotal role in timely and efficient product releases. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and an ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Requirement Gathering: Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed functional specifications, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between development, QA, and business teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Product Release Management: Collaborate with project leads to plan, track, and manage product release cycles.
• Process Improvement: Continuously analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategic solutions.
• Project Tracking: Use JIRA or equivalent Project Management Systems (PMS) to manage requirements, bugs, and progress tracking.
• Communication: Ensure consistent and transparent communication internally and with clients regarding project status, requirements, and changes.
• Product Support: Align business needs with technical solutions, supporting product development planning and execution.
• Reporting: Maintain up-to-date project documentation and generate regular reports for management and stakeholders.

• Fintech (Finance) Software Industry
• eCommerce Software Industry

Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field (preferred).

• 4–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT/software industry.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and related documentation practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Experience working with JIRA or similar project management/bug tracking tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹12,748.34 - ₹56,394.88 per month
