Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and implementing data models using ER Studio or equivalent tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably in Commercial Lines, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models. - Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into optimized data structures. - Ensure data models align with enterprise standards and support scalability and performance. - Work on data warehousing solutions and contribute to data integration strategies. - Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity. - Document data models and maintain metadata for easy reference and governance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Tools: Hands-on experience with ER Studio or equivalent data modeling tools. - Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Insurance P&C segment, preferably Commercial Lines. - Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts. - Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation. - Experience: 2–4 years in similar roles involving data modeling and insurance domain. - Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal guidance. - Passion: Enthusiastic about data and finding the best ways to utilize it for business value. - Exposure to ETL processes and BI tools. - Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. - Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial Insurance. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
