Business Analyst

Summary
Blue Sky is seeking a cleared Business Analyst to support software development programs and enterprise IT modernization initiatives for our federal customers. This role supports full lifecycle project execution through requirements gathering, documentation, and process development.

Work Location: Primarily Remote (CONUS)
Hybrid Requirement: Must be willing to work from the Blue Sky office or client site up to two (2) days per month, as mission needs require (College Park, MD / Washington, DC)
Clearance Required: Active SECRET

Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Develop and maintain process documentation including workflows, maps, procedural guides, and training materials
• Support Software Development Projects and Programs
• Develop and maintain processes, tools, and templates
• Provide professional writing support for documentation
• Support Integrated Project Teams and stakeholder coordination

Minimum Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher-level degree)

Minimum Experience Requirements

• 5 years demonstrated knowledge gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements
• 5 years professional writing experience (process documentation, workflows, training materials)
• 5 years experience supporting federal programs
• 5 years knowledge supporting federal Software Development Projects and Programs
• 5 years experience developing processes, tools, and templates
