Your Impact
This role plays a key role in helping our Operational Digital Enablement team identify opportunities to improve processes and boost efficiency across technical areas. In this role, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze data, and turn insights into practical recommendations that strengthen operational performance. By applying analytics, problem‑solving, and process‑optimization techniques, the Business Analyst helps teams make smarter decisions and supports our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and prepare business requirements, assessing areas for process improvement and optimization.
  • Assess operational data to monitor trends, patterns, and opportunities for efficiency improvements, delivering actionable insights through detailed reports and dashboards.
  • Prepare process maps and models to illustrate current workflows, assessing bottlenecks and areas for optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and provide solutions that solve business challenges and enhance processes.
  • Liaise with team members across operational domains to assess their needs and challenges, maintaining alignment with digital enablement initiatives.
  • Support change management efforts by assisting teams in implementing new processes and technologies, maintaining smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor industry trends and standard methodologies in business analysis, supporting continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience in similar roles within digital enablement, analytics, or operational improvement
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support decision‑making
  • Ability to create dashboards and digital tools that provide leaders with real‑time visibility
  • Skilled at simplifying technical data into practical recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong data storytelling skills to communicate findings in a compelling and actionable way
  • Ability to align data‑driven initiatives with business goals to ensure value creation
  • Commitment to continuously improving processes based on insights and performance metrics
  • Experience collaborating closely with operational teams to develop solutions tailored to their needs
Your Work Environment
  • You will work within Newmont’s global Digital organization, partnering with project managers, IT teams, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • The role operates in a dynamic, global environment supporting multiple initiatives at varying stages of delivery.
  • Work is Hybrid with collaboration across regions and time zones.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,500- 115,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance. (remove if not a Level 3 or above)
