Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with around 5 years of experience to join our IT services team. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to analyze data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making for global clients. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools, and the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reports.

Your future duties and responsibilities

. Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources to support business and client requirements
. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and convert them into analytical solutions
. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools
. Perform data validation, data quality checks, and root cause analysis for data issues
. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases
. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support operational and strategic decisions
. Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and internal teams
. Support UAT and production issues related to data and reporting
. Collaborate with data engineers and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
. Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Technical Skills


. Strong hands-on experience in SQL (queries, joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
. Experience in BFSI domain
. Experience with BI / Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
. Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
. Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
. Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

Functional Skills

. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
. Experience working in client-facing roles within IT services environments
. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
. Excellent communication and documentation skills


Good to Have

. Exposure to Azure
. Knowledge of statistics and predictive analysis
. Experience with large datasets and performance-sensitive reporting
